In traditional Chinese diet, we believe eating seasonal food could prepare us for a harmonious life. In winter, it’s time to have different kinds of root vegetables. Its good amount of starch could prepare our body for the coldness and its Vitamin C and other nutrition are also hidden benefits for our general wellbeings. I invited chef Yoli from a leading vegetarian restaurant to take us to her farm to start from recognising different root veggies and their characters, and to how to cook them deliciously.
