a photographic record
I have always been interested in people and places. Urban space is fascinating to me with different people’s activities happening within it. In response to certain social, political as well as environmental issues, artists and activists have been creating sculptures as well as installations situated in urban space, in order to arouse local and global attention and stimulate community involvement. As David Pinder puts it ‘… urban spaces are seen not merely as containers for or outcomes of social processes, but as a medium through which they unfold and as having constitutive significance themselves.’ Thanks to all these artists, adding more awareness and playfulness into our daily life. My humble support is to interact with them and record them so that more people and places are to be cured.
